Eversleigh Droughtmasters

Eversleigh Droughtmasters (Stud no 1101) is based at Eversleigh approximately 100km south of Hughenden and 220km north of Longreach. Combined with Aireworth near Stamford, Eversleigh is 24 000ha of black soil, open downs with some channel country. It is predominantly Mitchell and Flinders grass country with herbage during the winter months.

Eversleigh was established by the Underwood family in 1986 operating as a beef and wool property. Today Eversleigh runs a commercial herd of 1600 pure Droughtmaster breeders.

In March 2009 we purchased the renowned foundation stud Wallace Vale and relocated the registered and commercial herd to Eversleigh and Aireworth.

Bulls are sold both in the sale ring and in the paddock with lines of commercial heifers presented each year at the Diamantina Droughtmaster Bull & Female Sale in Winton.
