Commercial Females

The Eversleigh commercial herd is based on strict guidelines which require the cows to be fertile, demonstrate good mothering traits and have good temperament. Over the years the herd has been influenced by bloodlines sourced from Telemon, Lisgar, Mungalla, Strathfield and Kengoon.

In recent years we have introduced sires from studs including Bernborough, Glen Ruth, Minlacowie and Wallace Vale.

Eversleigh heifers have been sold at the annual Diamantina Droughtmaster Bull & Female Sale. In 2005 and 2007 a pen of PTIC heifers won first place in the pre-sale competition.
