Stud Calves and Weaners

Home -> Wallace Vale -> Stud Calves and Weaners

At the time of purchasing the Wallace Vale stud the registered cows had been joined in 4 single sire paddocks to Talgai Apollo and Wallace Vale bulls WV1752, WV2871 and WV2639. At Eversleigh the cows were initially joined to Eddington Chief for 5 months and then depastured with Jembrae C.J. for a season.  They are currently joined to Rondel Man About Town.

At the 127th Annual Hughenden Show held at the beginning of June 2010 Wallace Vale Aphrodite, a 9-month old heifer, took out the Reserve Champion Stud/Cow/Heifer of the Show.  The following year, an Eddington Chief daughter, Wallace Vale Begonia, won the Helen Wallace Memorial Champion Stud Cow/Heifer Trophy.

Jembrae CJ calves

Jembrae CJ was purchased at the 2009 Droughtmaster National Sale for $35 000. He was joined to the Wallace Vale Stud cows from the end of October 2009 and his first calves started to drop in mid-August 2010.  His first progeny will be available for sale during 2012.
